Carry on Charon, get the fuck up out my way
Styx, well-known, may claim my bones but not on this day
Castle Hamson, you took my father, Sir Taco
For vengeance into your cold, stone guts I shall go
Undead find here no rest, although I must confess
That stench is not of them, rather my IBS
My great great great grandmother
Destroyed the great big eye
My destiny inherited
I must fight, I must die
One third of my kin find our end
In this castle, again and again
Carry on Charon, get the fuck out of my way
Styx, well-known, may claim my bones but not on this day
We pray for PAD, and we’re cool with OCD
Heck no to vertigo, god help this family tree
Our legacy
An ancient ancestor must have had some strange fun
Because I’m seeing scales on one of my three sons
One third of my kin find our end
In this damned place
To fail to conquer this castle
Would truly disgrace
Silver and White does such an excellent job of telling the same story in music and lyrics. Mysterious, dreamy tones set the stage, then tension builds and climax. The finale sounds calm and resolved, but now the lyrics leave you wondering exactly what happened- a perfect note to end on. Two things- this music is awesome, and I'm a heckin nerd. Unicorn Hole
